In last week's state machine DSL compiler experiments I concluded that it is necessary to inline and partially evaluate the scheduler to get fast code. Are there ideas like that floating around in the Rust async world?

Never mind I think I'm moving too far towards a custom DSL compiler with this. Sticking with untyped Scheme for now to not complicate things, but eventually should probably be a DSL exposed as a Rust macro to fit in the ecosystem.
