What do you mean "not type safe"? I feel like I almost get the idea you're trying to express.

I mean it literally as well as figuratively. The neocortex doesn't implement type safety for the data it labels and manages. Lots of biases/cognitive errors are a result of this, but our ability to do transfer learning is also.

This, and "level errors" which I'm not sure I'm naming correctly, but what I mean is to conflate syntax and the semantics one level up. Maybe signifier/signified? Just intuition but this has struck me many times in the kind of thinking errors I make about typed programs.
I find it helpful to turn off the machine regularly and stare into space for a time then turn it back on, too! :)
