Keeping glue code simple is an art. It amazes me how different encodings can be for things that are essentially the same, and how much work it is to avoid making a mess. I wonder how much of programmer time is tackling just this arbitrary problem.

Took me 2.5 days to make a Lua wrapper for elfutils (libelf, libdw). I thought it was going to be a couple of hours... Just a tree structure, how hard can it be huh?

So it's working and I really like being able to just get target state in a test script without hoop jumping. How not to get terribly distracted and build a custom interactive debugger for this...
