What's the hottest trend in scripting tasks for systems dealing with asynchrony, retry policies, logging, transactional sem, etc? I can think of 100 designs from monadic, to reactive, to purely imperative bash 😌 but I'm sure there are 100 projects out there for these things 😊

Aha I see. No, I was thinking that sometimes you need a scripting language to send commands to a plethora of systems. Sometimes, you want to keep state, recover from error, retry, "rollback" something that you did e.g., a batch of commands. I was just wondering...
