There’s a distinct chicken and egg problem making that first cup in the morning. I mean, for those who depend on coffee. I am mostly incompatible with coffee, so I’m assuming things here.

I know someone that uses yesterday's coffee to bootstrap, the first cup being easier to manage with just heating it up in the microwave.
I just down yesterdays coffee. Cold, straight after waking up. That really wakes you up :D
