Saw today for the first time what an Ethernet ping packet looks like on 4 RMII receive signals.

Learning about RMII and looking for scope traces I found this. Thanks for posting, but are you sure this is ping and not the ARP packet preceeding the ping? There is 0xFF for a bit after the preamble and SFD, so looks more like a broadcast packet. Ping should have actual dst MAC.

Nope, not sure at all. :-)
Honestly, I kinda put the Ethernet stuff on the back burner and focused mostly on USB host and some of the most requested audio features, then switched to work on Teensy 4.0... which of course took a lot longer than anticipated.
