    Gutted about this. I think it could have been avoided if the UK had a major festivals underwriting scheme. If the vaccine rollout is a success, it wouldn’t have cost too much. And what a way it would have been to celebrate the joyful power of vaccinations.

    With great regret, we must announce that this year’s Glastonbury Festival will not take place, and that this will be another enforced fallow year for us. Tickets for this year will roll over to next year. Full statement below and on our website. Michael & Emily

    I read a review copy of this book. It’s quite brilliant and offers a blueprint for how we can become an active nation. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

    It’s **PUBLICATION DAY** Rather than just exhorting people to buy my book – though do feel free to – I thought I’d briefly explain how on earth a political journalist ended up writing a book about the global crisis of physical inactivity. 1/x

    Inauguration Day 2017 was my grandmother’s 99th birthday. I asked her how she was feeling. She responded by saying, “Franklin, you’re asking me if I’ll be here til 100. Yes. I’ll be here until at least 103. I have to see who we replace this idiot with.” She’s still here.

    Uber are assisting with transportation to vaccination centres in the UK. I know a lot of older people without cars who would benefit from this support. It’s clever CSR because it supports a national effort.

    This is fantastic! Well done David.

    Not really into selfie posting, but today a bit chuffed to hit 6 stone since March plus 2 stone before that. Eight stone gone. 'Fat mass' <18% and 'muscle mass' >78% No dieting - lots of treadmill and weights.. and, er, gin. Who knew it would be fun..!? 🏋️‍♀️🏃‍♂️💪
