    org-mode is a really great utility. My progression: sane hierarchical lists, TODO/DONE status, date entry, then clocking. Clocking is fantastic. Haven’t figuring out reporting yet, however.

    The strongest vendor lock-in is iMessage. Try switching to Android…the bug where iMessages mysteriously don’t resend as SMS is still there.

    The attitude of election system vendors and a (rapidly diminishing) fraction of their customers toward reports of security vulnerabilities in 2018 is roughly similar to that of software vendors in the early 90’s: deny the problem and attack the messenger.

    At hacking conference and just learned how easy it is to physically gain admin access on a voting machine that is used in 18 states. Requires no tools and takes under 2 minutes. I’m concerned for our upcoming elections.

    What a deeply troubling article! a) Typical situation of causation is not correlation. b) Using Dropbox data from 400.000 academic users without consent? They say the data was anonymised, yet contained folder structure, institution, and researchers' seniority. WTF!
