    Have just received the 4th phone call in 2 days from somebody claiming to be on 0800 052 1251. They start by asking me to prove who I am by giving them personal information! Have updated my contact preferences to "no nay never".

    RIP Jacqueline Pearce. Here we named our CI system Servalan. Partly because it's superior to Travis. But mainly because if you check in code that fails the test suite, it comes after you dressed in a cloak of feathers and waving a blaster pistol.

    My feelings 100%. Very well written thread, thanks for posting.

    A lot of us are battling on two fronts up here - opposing Brexit, and supporting Scottish independence. I do still care what happens in rUK because I have family living in England, but feel the only way Scotland will fulfil her potential is by voting for independence. (1/?)

    Seen at The Dean in today. It *is* a grey heron, right? I'm just slightly doubtful 'cos I've seen them in Amsterdam & thought they were a bit bigger than this.

    People who shoot birds that move at 2mph for fun must have incredibly small penises.

    Around 500,000 grouse will have been shot out of the skies during this season and thousands of stoats, weasels, foxes, corvids and birds of prey will have also lost their lives to prop up this sick 'sport'

    I'd like to know exactly which diseases mountain hares spread to grouse. Diseases that cross species are unusual. Till that's explained, I'm just going to assume that this is another case of toffs with shotguns will merrily kill any small animals they can.
