Data Jim mentions is only about the sample. The article takes into account possible sample bias and describes how we can use the data to estimate growth among Global 2000 companies.

Yeah, I think there's clearly growth in that space, but the 53% is really about respondents to a Linux Foundation / Todo Group survey, which obviously is going to be super high. If I understand the conclusions of the article, it's barely 2 digit otherwise?

The article talks about estimating the percentage of large tech companies that will have programs, which will be well over 50%. The Global 2000 is a benchmark is a tougher nut to crack, but we know we interviewed at least 8% of worldwide companies with > 10,000 employees
