A lot of people don’t know this but Starcraft 2 is free to play. Got PC or Mac? You can probably run it really well. Got a PC and a lug around a MacBook Pro? Play and learn together!

Back to video games for a moment. I’ve been getting lots of messages that, based on my tweets, parents have introduced their fortnite addicted kids to Starcraft 2 and it has stuck.

Screen time is important for kids, especially if they invest it into active games that involve long term decision making. Strategy games look simple but they teach you complex system decision making in a way that not much else can.
