The nexus of homelessness, drugs and mental health risks becoming Shellenberger’s single-issue policy platform. Flagship policy, sure, but needs to be talking more about a wider range of problems, opportunities and policy areas, imo.

I would love to see him lay out a top ten list of problems facing our state and his plans to tackle them. Better yet identify the 20% of the issues accounting for 80% of our pain; then whittle away. He seems to be the only real viable option to Newsome.
