    Beautiful addendum to that wonderful 2015 piece (which you can read here: ).

    I just found this amazing photo of my great-great grandfather (seated, with fez) observing work at his copper factory in Diyarbakir, Turkey, circa 1900. Thank you . I wrote about him in in 2015. His name was Sarkis Kazanjian.

    The way forward has been clear for two decades, as suggests: Either charge the men with crimes or release them. If the evidence isn't reliable enough to serve as a basis for trial, it's not reliable enough to serve as a basis for imprisonment without trial, either.
