As someone who has worked in the internet security space, this is an abysmal response. I've emailed the CEO of T-Mobile calling attention to this thread, and if these systems are not secured properly I will be cancelling my service.

For me it looks like you guys are discussing telephone service passwords not an actual account password which is very different and generally used standard in mobile banking and many other services at least in UK.

At T-Mobile in AUT there is only one pw which is used for both phone service and online login
