It does seem like all the many news sites reporting on it just link back to that guy. But could that account for all the bad reviews?
I filtered the reviews to negative only and traditional Chinese only. Ctrl+f for "廣告" (google tells me this is "advertisement"). Not many.

I don't read Chinese. So I have no idea what the actual content of the reviews are. You know how an internet mob can be though.

Did anybody reach out to PUBG for comment? I didn't see any mention of it in the article. Basically nothing is all that confirmed.
