A good reason for C++ to support multiple return values: returning multiple references instead of pointers for explicit not null situations.

Still possible with a struct of references. Some restrictions, but it will work.
Before variadic templates, I have a delegate class that just took 1 param, and used this to pass structs of refs into the delegate.

I think the compiler basically can't generate any ctors or copy/move operators. You have to explicitly write the ctor.
