Some is "We must make people see our awesome story," which is something MMOs almost universally do poorly and should stop trying to force.
What MMO hits the closest to your ideal of "by grindy" and "story done right"?

The thing is, every MMO is grindy, even the ones that say they aren't. That's what they have to do to stay relevant for years.

Sometimes I'm in a bit of a mood for that, but that's been less the case for a while. I'd rather play a SP game that I can enjoy then leave.
