work for Beth on other creators' pitches. Say you're a modeler, but you're in a lull doing your own work. Someone else is a designer, but

they aren't good at modeling and rigging. Bethesda could, in theory, ask you to help realize someone else's creation.

I think the hardest part about selling the BCC idea to consumers is that they don't get the new relationship forged by being a creator.

If they had originally just launched the creation club store with in-house work only, and quietly began signing contracts with modders,

Players would have swallowed that content and thrown wads of cash at Beth for it. Then once people get acclimated to the new content,

And realize that Beth is signing contracts with past modders, then once they make it more open, they wouldn't care, because new content!
