And there's enough production value that it had to have been recorded days ago. Must seem weird for the players to be watching it.
So this event definitely isn't live. I guess given the Invitationals, i assumed it would be. Defs prefer the live events.

Being in TV, I couldn't imagine the logistics of this. Not to mention the language issues that would pop up.

I watched an Overwatch event at PAX. In 30 minutes they had two disconnects. I figure they can't afford that kind of mistake on TV.

Yeah the invitationals had their own issues too. I'll be sad if esports doesn't figure out how to be live on TV.
