Every time I actually use a new #cplusplus feature, it's always kind of disappointing. Never lives up to what you think it will do for you.

My current beef is constexpr. Compiler can basically say "Yes, that is a valid constexpr. No, we'll evaluate it at runtime instead."
To *force* the compiler to evaluate at compile time or throw an error, you have to (surprise surprise!) use template meta-programming.

But of course that's ugly. So you wrap it in a macro and pretend you're able to sleep at night.
