Abuse of macros in general makes me barf. "Is this abuse" is the question. Reality is only the macros can do this in c++ atm
Which makes my rational side say "this is okay" and my gut-instinct say "barf please".

And this use of macros isn't overly complex or anything, but I would say it is probably error prone. Not sure how yet.

Really the best thing would be for C++ to support Null Propagation similar to C#. Something like "pMyThing?->DoMethod();"
