Man, I don't care what people say, git is slow AF. I've yet to have a positive experience with it.

Someone should have told Git "Read this chapter about ease of use."
So I guess you branch to a new branch and then push to the remote repo. Another infinite progress bar while that happens...

Another option is to through up a diff on dropbox but I do agree having something built into the VCS would be nice.

one of the guys at work does that. I was tempted, but then it's *another* program to deal with. Already too many tools.
