Fun Windows 10 fact! If your program tries to write something, let's say an error log, to the C:\ folder, it just crashes outright.
Weird that it crashes though. I'm reading that it's because the program doesn't have the security to. I'd expect an error code.

it was doing a fOpen or something, definitely not your style. But then it did some other stuff in the file pointer.

also the stack was pretty empty and the dump said it crashed in a system32 dll. It was just the right storm of annoying.
