Fun Windows 10 fact! If your program tries to write something, let's say an error log, to the C:\ folder, it just crashes outright.

@tloch14, I think you'd get a kick from this one. This was in the Export Areas function.
I'll have you know I didn't write the ExportAreas function. I only refactored it. And I did so under Win7. =P

Weird that it crashes though. I'm reading that it's because the program doesn't have the security to. I'd expect an error code.

it was doing a fOpen or something, definitely not your style. But then it did some other stuff in the file pointer.
