I know it's not trendy to say you hope games fail, but I really hope the LotRO license expires in 2017. Could really use a fresh start.
Could do same universe, different time. Second age anyone? Forging of the rings of power and war thereafter.

Sounds nice for us hardcore geeks but will never draw in large
#s of players w/o Frodo, Gandalf, Aragorn, etc. -
I can see that. But it worked for Knights of the Old Republic. Plenty of known names in that age too.
