If a @twitch streamer was sponsored by a brewing company, would they be allowed to drink on stream? Or is that against FCC regulations?

ahh gotcha.. Hmm would depend on the endorsement? Ie: no requirement to drink the drink. Got a link to the regulation?

Weirdly, it says that it hasn't enacted regulations on advertising alcohol. But TV obviously follows a "don't drink" standard.

We allow prescription drugs to be advertised directly to consumers, seems a bit odd to restrict alcohol more.

loose wording but based on that the streamer can't say "go drink Molson Canadian. The best beer on the market"

but can be provided drinks and drink them. Just can't make a point of advertising it specifically I would say.
