Getting burned by making a change "on principle" and not realizing the deep repercussions of the change until its causing weird bugs.

@tomslick42 I wonder how many bugs are created because virtual functions get yanked from below derived classes.
@tomslick42 which makes me then wonder every time I'm about to write "virtual" if I *really* need to be doing it this way.
