Everyone is talking about the ET Atari find, but here's what I wanna know. Why were they "excavating" a land fill in the first place?

@Seamus_Donohue We live in a world of paper trails. Articles even mention that a former Atari manager knew where they were. Why dig?

Headlines should've been "Diggers spend thousands of dollars looking for ET cartridges. Could have just asked someone."

@Seamus_Donohue Unfortunately, I would bet that those cartridges could sell for quite a bit, for those exact reasons.
