That's a fairly odd case, but not an inconceivable one. I wonder how the edits persist through the "Make a Copy" button. If someone I shared it with makes a copy, do they get my edit history in their copy? Hm.

If I remember correctly it gives you an option to keep it (or not) when copying, but I could be mistaken.

Yeah, fair point, accidentally sharing more than you intend could be a problem.

The issue is that G is picking defaults that are not sane from user POV (from surveillance business POV they make total sense). Sharing history/everything should be always elective, not default.
