i've often thought that machine learning leans too heavily on white noise and could stand to benefit from LDSs. I literally talk about Alan to my peers as "Blue Noise Guy" and they know who I'm talking about. If he's tweeting about something, chances are it has to do with blue noise.

Just trying to spread the knowledge. It's amazingly useful stuff in so many different fields. LDSs relate to sphere packing and crystalline structures. Blue noise is starting to come up in other fields, being called "disordered hyperuniformity"
