It’s amazing that Zoom and Teams are two of the biggest players in teleconferencing and they are consistently the worst experiences I have in regard to audio and video stability. Skype, Slack, and Discord all do AV better, across several devices.
Zoom does this awesome thing where if I am not muted, I hear everyone else just fine. As soon as I mute myself, the audio from everybody else ducks in and out every few seconds.
My workaround is to leave myself unmuted in Zoom and rely on hard mutes like OS control or on the headset itself.
