Yes. Nvidia is stopping support for SLI in January. Also won’t fit in this case :)
SLI support is being dropped in favor of multi GPU, supported by both DX12 and Vulkan. Forget 2. I want 4 of those bad boys. I've done some mgpu development, but games companies don't seem to prioritize supporting it in engines. =(

MGPU is a tough nut to crack. Your engine has to coordinate the two GPUs itself, rather than relying on the driver doing it for you through SLI. But it's more flexible. You can use MGPU to work with two GPUs from entirely different hardware vendors.
