But what if correct looked so much better and your barometer for "nice" was gravely miscalibrated? Think of the incredible world you could be experiencing! Though you're right: "It doesn't offend my senses" is usually the bar.

Final Check on iPhone / iPad. If it looks great on these - it will look great to OK on every other internet consumer device. Different story when it comes to screenings...

Fine for some issues. Not for others. For example, blurring in sRGB leaves noticeable dark colors where two contrasting colors blended together. No screen will fix that. It's a math problem that lots of people just get wrong.
