It makes me wonder if anybody has a realistic hope of getting colors right. There's so much along every point in the pipeline from source assets to final presentation on screen that can go wrong.

I am also starting to hate that I'm becoming a bit of a neurotic color freak. I already have enough things to be neurotic about, like how you should say "anyway" not "anyways" or how I flinch when people use "good" and "well" incorrectly.

Back to the color issue, there's also this fear of what I don't yet know. Or things seemingly everybody takes for granted but there isn't any material on it. Right now I can't stop thinking that maybe we should blend pixels in HSL, since that color model interpolates better.

I mean what could go wrong with attempting to replicate a continuous spectrum of frequencies by using three channels that attempt to stimulate three different types of nerves in an equivalent way. :p

Even if that was somehow done perfectly, (almost) everyone would still do it wrong. Even excusing the approximations made for light calculations in real-time rendering, still (almost) everyone does it wrong.

As a colourblind I simply don't care anymore :D

I accidentally discovered I was partly colourblind in only *one* eye in only the *peripheral* vision, and that only happened when I was playing with the Philips Hue app one day while lying down and looking at something else, with my arm blocking the light :-)
