The critique that games are too long is not really opinion. It's pretty much fact. Your UX, your code, your novel, your script, your illustration, your logo, your speech, your /everything/ would almost 100% be better with less of it. I thought all creatives knew this.
I also think there is a way to deliver a 5-6 hour main story with side content a replay value that give a game legs. Or to deliver a core game for 20-ish and 5-10$ add on content later on. By the way, I can’t wait to see why you’re working on.
