Have been using spirv-reflect recently. Awesome library. Way more easy to use than any other spirv library I've found, especially including glslang and spirv-cross. And then I went to reflect some shaders in D3D11 andpic.twitter.com/poPiQOeop0
It’s not this at all. I don’t want glslang to reflect spirv. The point is that spirv-reflect is easy to set up, use, and comprehend. Glslang is not. Because of the design of HLSL reflection, it is a pain to use.

Glslang's high-quality goals are GLSL validation and a GLSL -> SPIR-V translation. It's easier to get glslang to do those than to get spirv-reflect to do them.

Yes, glslang has usability issues (mostly due to history and being conservative). Is the recently contributed C interface better? Can you wrap the functionality the way you want, or use shaderc as a wrapper? Have you contributed improvements that don't break existing users?
