On my home project, which uses D3D11, I use Visual Studio's CMake features (which are awesome), but I found today I can't launch the VS graphics debugger from it.
But with @RenderDoc's update a few days ago it can debug D3D11 shaders.
So I guess RIP VS Graphics Debugger.
I've always used VS Debugger so I didn't know! First time using it, I noticed that the High-Level Variables window isn't showing arrays correctly (see image). This also led me to believe it was a relatively new feature with some kinks to work out.pic.twitter.com/pxmRy9OMH2

If you can share a repro case I can look into it. It might be that the debugging info is weird in that scenario but that's down to what fxc produces.
