Like *every other external lib* you'd expect to get one .lib file and an include directory. Add the lib to your additional dependencies. Add the include to your include directories. Two steps and you should be off!

But glslang is a special kind of bass ackwards. You need 5 libs. One of which is for hlsl, even though I have no intention of compiling hlsl. Then you need three include directories. And they need to have the same directory structure relative to each other.

So there's no easy way to just put a minimal "assemblies and header" in your project directory. Unless you're ready to surgically extract the necessary parts, you may as well just drop their whole damn repo in your project.

Is this collateral damage of being an open source project? Did the project make decisions early on that they couldn't fix because of backward compatibility? How did it get to be such a disgusting experience?
