I dislike the pattern of adding `empty` to containers. When I want to check a container has things having to do the double negative `!empty()` is distracting. I fall back to `.size() > 0` a lot of the time because of this. clang-tidy-be-damned.

yes, naturally, it's a good solution. Though non_empty is a negative, I'd maybe call it `occupied` :)
