The most baffling thing about the United States that isn't utterly political is candy. The country argues whether Twizzlers or Red Vines are better, unaware that both are abysmal. And imagine my surprise when I realized there is such a thing as bad chocolate: it's US chocolate.
Forget candy. Most food here is gross. Next time you're here find a way to get locally sourced/made candy. It's light years better than mass produced over-processed crap you get from most grocery stores.
