So Stadia is anti-consumer and all that because you never physically own the game. Not even downloaded to your device like existing marketplaces. I know it’s basically a meme at this point, but... wouldn’t blockchain actually solve this?
Like the one time blockchain technology can actually be invoked and be the right tool for the job, instead of a meaningless buzzword in a pitch deck. @Arclegger thoughts?
If they turned the digital game into an NFT that you own you could trade it and sell it just as if it was a boxed copy. Blockchain is the answer for all digital items.
Also this will likely not happen because google is too afraid of losing money to a secondary market. They want people to buy from them only because greed.
