Me: "I'm building [project, tool, service]" Response: "Did you know that that was already made?" Why does every idea have to be original? Why can't we build just to learn or for our own fulfillment? It's like saying because one shoe brand exists, another one can't be made?
As tech progresses, all tools are worth remaking anyway. In the earlier projects, how many decisions were made on assumptions that no longer hold up? We don't make wheels with chisels and stone anymore.
