This turned out to be a pretty neat project. Lights are binned in homogeneous space (64x64x1 grid dimensions). My hope with this experiment is to see if it has more even cell distribution than doing so in world space.pic.twitter.com/e54V1SxlSf
There are 512 lights in that scene. I think there's improvements to make to get more lights and better performance. Might put effort into that in the coming days.
BTW, the app was build on #ConfettiFX's The Forge (https://github.com/ConfettiFX/The-Forge …).
