Slug has constant memory usage regardless of glyph scale. It’s typically a few times as much data as in the original TrueType file if you use all glyphs in the font (and you can select subsets to reduce the size).
Hey @EricLengyel. I’m curious about Slug’s GPU memory usage. In my experience, traditional glyph atlases generated on demand don’t scale well in this regard. How does slug compare?
