Any #graphics #programmers know of a way to capture GPU timing from the application that's submitting the GPU calls? Like, I can easily trace how long it took to *submit* the commands, but I want to see timing like what @RenderDoc might provide.
I'm not too familiar with opengl, but that looks promising. Mostly use D3D11/12 and Vukan. Also, I'll admit fully that I'm not the greatest graphics wiz on the planet. So it may be exactly what I want and I just don't know it yet. =P

The timers that renderdoc fetches are available either through the API itself, or through IHV-specific libraries, but they can be used just the same in the application itself
