Been watching a fair amount of WoW streams, and one thing that I can't shake is that more powerful enemies are bigger. Like, cheaply scaled up regular mobs. We did this on Vanguard too and it drove me nuts.
The NPC's hitbox is still obviously absurdly small. When they turn it looks stupid because the animations were designed for a regular sized model. The texel density gets wrecked. Nobody is more intimidated because they're bigger. Why do MMOs do this?

Difficulty and power is indicated by level. I'm watching someone solo steamroll group content creatures 8 times his size because he is playing content from the last xpac.
