My favorite part about the Mana Engine (my homebrew one, developed with help) is that not only is it core-neutral, it's also inherently thread-safe. The scheduler automatically makes sure data is never written to at the same time.
Since the core neutral engine version of "hello world" is "render 100k+ objects" here's what the ManaEngine does right now. It's rendering and rotating 125,000 models. I think it's a sphere, a chair, and a barrel. Lol.pic.twitter.com/fGwz5yClzZ

Of course these "hello worlds" are a little disingenuous. Look at when I limit it to 2 cores. Framerate mostly unchanged. All the time is spent on the GPU rendering anyway.pic.twitter.com/BCvpzemhh5

Here's the difference in core count. Purple is actual rendering time. The maroon Rendering_Present is just waiting on last frame to finish rendering before it can submit graphics commands.pic.twitter.com/C43uaC6Y00
