If I'm doing hot takes this morning anyway: given that a game technically takes place in the players' head, not on a computer, a game doesn't start when you first boot it up, it has already started when you first learn of it.

My coworker and I were talking about this recently. When we were kids and you go to install a new game, the installer would often have tips, or concept art. The game manual helped you get into the game while it was installing.

The question was, could it be possible to somehow recreate that feeling? Like while downloading the game on steam, there is something about the game you can interact with? Platform download screens (ie, Steam, PS4, Origin, etc) are so sterile.
