One risk being run by GOPers here is that the FBI doesn’t interview these 20-40 witnesses that apparently want to be interviewed; they vote to confirm Kavanaugh anyway; then the witnesses talk after confirmation and reveal new, relevant info.

They are walking into it with their eyes wide open. My question is why? Why is Kavanaugh so important? Why risk it all for him? Why hang their vote on an issue as divisive as sexual assault and rape?

Please stop worrying and be aware that this would only alter the strategy to pursue state crimes *first*, or save crimes for the state. This would only apply to the same crime tried twice. Obviously this isn't great, but it would lead to altering Mueller's strategy.
