Tangaraju's state-sanctioned death is a stark reminder of how punitive cannabis prohibition can be. No one should be killed for drugs. The work of is crucial to highlight these atrocities and fight back

Singapore hanged Tangaraju this morning (26 April) despite concerns over fair trial processes & alignment with international human rights standards. A nation's right to sovereignty should NOT lie on the back of injustices towards society's lowest rung. Rest in power, Tangaraju.

Tangaraju has less than 12 hours before his scheduled hanging. As I told , we keep hoping and fighting until the end. His only chance is for ’s Cabinet to advise President Halimah Yacob to grant clemency.

Solidarity with Tangaraju, with his loved ones, with the courageous activists of Singapore #Singapore wants to kill Tangaraju for 1kg cannabis. The case is flawed, basic rights have been violated. The murderous drug-free ideology is back #StrengthInSolidarity #SupportDontPunish

URGENT: #HR23, I’m calling for solidarity and support for Tangaraju s/o Suppiah and his family, who received an execution notice today informing them that #Singapore intends to hang him Wednesday 26 April for conspiracy to traffic around 1kg of cannabis. #StrengthInSolidarity
